There are tiny moments every day that make me admire all sorts of different people who casually pass me by. Whether they are sashaying down the street, dashing for the tube, or planted on a park bench, they make my head turn twice because they are truly one of a kind.
Some are zany and eccentric, colourful and quirky, while others are just happy being who they are in their own way. They span all ages, genders, shapes and ethnicities. Yet, what makes me look twice simply boils down to their individuality in action.
I chronicle these encounters with pencil and paint to celebrate different people who make our cities unforgettable. They brighten up my day and I hope they brighten yours too.
